Wendy will be looking at focal planets in aspect configurations and how these can be interpreted to understand their impact, strength and weaknesses – and how these often run in families. Often a dominant focal planet is an unaspected one and there will be discussion on how these planets can behave and express themselves and how their position in the chart can either bottle or unleash them. Please feel free to bring acetates of your own charts.

Forecasting the Times: Mundane Astrology
Over the past three years, we have seen Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto all move into cardinal signs. The current planetary climate includes a series of hard aspects between these planets. In addition, 2011 sees Neptune ingress into Pisces. In this talk, Wendy will look at the impact of this climate and consider the possible effects on our economics, our planet and the general mood of society.

When Uranus and Pluto came to conjunction in the 1960’s, a new era and generation was born. This generation is now in their 40’s and are living through the challenges that the present cardinal Uranus-Pluto square brings. Along with the ingress of Neptune into Pisces we can anticipate societal change on many levels, and can look forward to interesting times brought forward from a new generation.

Secrets of Attraction
Have you ever wondered why we are more attracted to some people than others? Or what the attraction is? Why are we more compatible with some people be it partners, friends, colleagues or peers - and not so compatible with others? What and who we are attracted can be explored through a multitude of factors in the birth chart. This lecture will address the specific nature of attraction through various examples.

Rectification
An accurate birth time is an essential part of chart analysis, as it ensures that the planets are in the correct houses, the Moon is in the correct sign and it also enables accurate forecasting work with the angles for if the time is incorrect by just 4 minutes, this could throw the timing of events out by one year. The aim of this lecture is to consider the techniques, theories and models which may be helpful in confirming and rectifying birth times.

Neptune in Pisces

Neptune will make its full ingress into its own sign of Pisces in February 2012. It has not journeyed through this sign since 1862 and will remain there until 2025. Neptune in Pisces will bring new issues and challenges but will also introduce us to a new visual world which will influence how we live. This talk will look at the impact that Neptune in Pisces will have globally and in particular, economically.
